Asplenium oblongifolium, commonly known as Shining Spleenwort, is a robust New Zealand native fern valued for its glossy green foliage and graceful arching habit. Growing to approximately 1m high and 1.2m wide, it forms an attractive clump that brings texture and year-round greenery to shaded gardens and natural landscapes.

Its long, arching fronds can reach up to 1.5m in length, creating a lush, layered effect beneath trees and within woodland plantings.
