Every Corten steel fire pit begins as raw steel before gradually developing its distinctive rusted appearance. During the first few weeks of weather exposure, the protective patina will continue to mature, making every fire pit completely unique. As part of this natural process, some surface run-off may occur, so we recommend positioning the fire pit away from light-coloured paving or decking until the finish has fully stabilised.
