Pachysandra terminalis, commonly known as Japanese Spurge, is a hardy evergreen groundcover valued for its dense carpet of glossy dark-green foliage. Spreading steadily through underground runners, it forms an attractive weed-suppressing mat that is ideal for shaded areas where other groundcovers may struggle.

In spring, clusters of small greenish-white flowers emerge above the foliage, adding subtle seasonal interest and a light fragrance.
