Details

Hebe Odora, commonly known as Boxwood Hebe, is a hardy New Zealand native shrub valued for its dense, rounded form, glossy green foliage, and fragrant white flowers. Blooming from mid-spring, the delicate flowers add seasonal interest while attracting pollinators to the garden.

Growing to approximately 1m high and 1.5m wide, Boxwood Hebe forms a naturally tidy shrub that is well suited to hedging, borders, mass planting, and low-maintenance landscape designs. Its compact foliage provides year-round structure and colour, making it an excellent alternative to traditional box hedging in New Zealand gardens.

Adaptable and easy to grow, Hebe Odora thrives in full sun to part shade and performs well in a range of soil conditions from dry to moist. Its tolerance of exposed sites and coastal conditions makes it a reliable choice for both urban and rural landscapes.
